A Little History

The humble beginning:
The 2008 festival started out as a small event with the intention of providing
a few hundred people a family oriented afternoon pirate event on Osceola Street.

The festival opened and the people came out, and to our surprise they just kept coming!
A passing shower and a couple of good downpours sent the masses into the local shops for cover.
But amazingly, as the rains diminished the people didn't leave, this crowd was hungry for a Pirate Festival and nothing was going to take that away!

Unofficial estimates had the attendance of our first year's one day event at well over two thousand.

2009 and  2010  both drew crowds well over 20,000.

Once again the increase in sponsorships have made it possible for this event to grow.

The 4th Annual Treasure Coast Pirate Fest
is on Course to be even
 Bigger and Better this Year!

With more period vendor booths, non-stop piratical mayhem, and entertainment on 3 stages,
the 2011 Treasure Coast Pirate Fest will now encompass an even larger area to accommodate our continued growth.

Anticipated Attendance for 2011
30,000+

In order to keep this festival free to the public we count on contributions, donations, volunteers and most of all our sponsors

Thank you for your interest in the 2011 Treasure Coast Pirate Fest.

The 4th Annual Treasure Coast Pirate Fest is set for the weekend of September 9th, 10th & 11th. This three day event will be extensively advertised through local, state and national media outlets and will host a variety of entertainment including some local and internationally renowned pirate performers on three event stages.

In addition to the daytime festivities on Saturday and Sunday, there will also be several pirate parties at locations (TBD) around the area Friday night to kick off this event.

Working again this year with the Downtown Business Association of Stuart, is Kathryn Gilbert of Pirates of the Treasure Coast. Kathryn’s strong connections in the pirate community combined with her involvement with more than 40 festivals and events each year, will keep this ship afloat and on course.

Together, the combined efforts and dedication to excellence from the Stuart DBA and the event management team of Pirates of the Treasure Coast  made this past year’s event a nationally recognized pirate festival, drawing substantially greater than anticipated crowds to the streets of downtown Stuart. The positive feedback and praises from our 2010 sponsors, vendors and attendees have been absolutely phenomenal.

We are honored to welcome each of you back, and for those of you who missed out last year...

We are requesting that you “come aboard” and reap the benefits that the 2011 Treasure Coast Pirate Fest has to offer.

In addition to the standard sponsorship packages, we can offer even more elaborate packages custom built to suit your marketing needs. We would love the opportunity to work with you on whichever level you choose.

Thank you and fair winds,

The Treasure Coast Pirate Fest Crew
