From 1712 to 1716, Captain Jack Quint sailed the waters alongside some of the greatest Pirates in history.
Like many Pirates of the time, Quint was originally a Privateer, but quickly favored the riches enjoyed by Pirate type activities.
Secretly based on the barrier islands of Fort Myers, Florida he was responsible for the capture of hundreds of vessels, and plundered millions in gold, silver, women, and anything else of value.
Working the waters with a smaller crew than most, and a modest sized schooner he was both fast, and deadly. He was known to have accompanied Captain 'Calico' Jack Rackham on a few pirate runs as well during his brief stay on Estero Island.
The exact cause of Quints death remains unknown, but it is feared he was sunk in a massive storm. In late 1716 a Hurricane came ashore the Gulf Coast of Florida, beaching parts of the riggings of his ship.
Sightings of an undead Pirate have been reported numerous times over the past 100 years on the beaches of Southwest Florida...
