Leo John Ambrogi ||

Leo had said that one of the things he would miss the most was this Pirate Festival.
The POTTC Crew dedicates this year's festival to the memory of our friend, Dr. Leo Love!
Obituary 
Leo J. Ambrogi II, AKA “Dr. Leo Love” or “The Lip” went peacefully at his home in Port St. Lucie to see our Lord on September 10, 2015.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 11, 1951.
He was one of four brothers born to Leo and Jean Ambrogi.
He was part of C & L Tool & Die family business in the early 80’s. He was an owner of Data Clean Corporation in Bristow, Virginia from 1988 to 1995. He then returned as an owner to his family business C & L Tool & Die, from 1995 to 2006.

Leo was a member of the PSL Sons of Italy Lodge #2594.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in PSL.
He volunteered as an usher at the Sunrise Theatre in Ft. Pierce. He is known worldwide as “Dr. Leo Love”, a DJ for Pirate Radio of the Treasure Coast.com, an Internet Radio Station in PSL.
He was a board member for Gainsford Court Association, in Bristow Virginia. Leo was a wonderful Dad who assisted coaching baseball, and soccer for his son Leo III.

Leo is survived by his devoted wife, the love of his life for 43 years, Maryjane Ambrogi, and his precious son Leo J. Ambrogi III; his brother Ken Ambrogi and his wife Maryann of Middletown, NJ; and his brother Richard Ambrogi of Ft Pierce, FL; his nieces Michelle Rabar, Karen Peters, Laura Valle, Raquel Ambrogi, and Diana Ambrogi; his nephews Jonathon Gubitosa, and Phillip Bertino; his great nieces and great nephews Kyleigh, Evan, Owen, Luke, and Aubree. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Ambrogi
of Queens, NY, as well as his parents Leo and Jean Ambrogi.
A portion of the proceeds of the 12th Annual Treasure Coast Pirate Festival will benefit the Krewe of the Scarlett Fortuna
a 501(c)3 non-profit organization who work towards promoting education and reading among school age children.

Non-perishable food donations will benefit the Treasure Coast Food Bank, a recognized 501(c)3 organization that distributes food
and needed products to over 200+ Partner Agencies along the Treasure Coast. Canned Goods will be collected at the gates.
